Baby travel styles - stroller and ergo!

I'm working on a complete list of ESSENTIAL BABY items, but I realllly love my strollers and ergo, so here is my in depth opinion on strollers and ergos!

1. TRAVEL SYSTEM ($400-$700)
(STROLLER + CARSEAT)- If you are going to be in and out of cars a lot, then go with this one! My advice is to pick a stroller you love and then look for a compatible carseat. Any infant carseat should be ok.

We love the INFANT carseat because you can click it into and out of cars. If your baby is sleeping, you can take both a sleeping baby and the carseat out of the car without waking the baby.  You can also buy an adapter for stroller and click the carseat into a compatible stroller.
With Henry (2014) we had the Britax B-Agile travel system & used it to click and go, when Henry was an infant.  However, we were gifted a BOB revolution SE,  and the BOB jogging stroller is MIGHTY! Its wheels can handle any terrain.  It's the luxury SUV of strollers. Henry loved that thing & was sad to see it go when we upgraded to a double stroller.

-(STROLLER + BASSINET)- If you will not be going in and out of cars a lot, and instead going for LONG walks daily, like we do in the city.. then a BASSINET is a MUST!! So much more comfortable for a sleeping infant- and we can keep her sleeping in there when we get home. I recommend the citi mini stroller with the baby jogger bassinet. Bought it with 20% off coupon at albeebaby.

Growing into her bassinet! We kept her in there for as long as we could!

2. Uppa Baby Gluxe- ($250)
Perfect if you need a lightweight, compact stroller with great recline, this is it!  I love it because it has an easy fold, stands on its own (can store in the corner of your closet!), has a simple and easy one handed recline (not straps!) & weighs ONLY 13 lbs!!! Has a shoulder strap so you can carry it around easily. I was able to lug this stroller, a toddler and diaper bag up and down NYC subway stairs. If I can do it, you can too!!
Totally worth the splurge! We love the single so much, when uppababy came out with the double G-link, it was an easy decision. We love our Glink!!  The gluxe is for 3 months and up, but the Glink is good from birth!! We bought it online during the black friday sale (20%off) at Neiman Marcus via EBATES.COM!

G-link is big enough for a toddler, and is safe enough for newborn!
Notice the newborn netting and the nearly flat recline.
Life is good

3. ERGO- ($125)
Baby wearing is the best thing ever!! And both my babies love it. I have the traditional ergo for sleeping the baby and the ergo 360 for forward facing.
We also used the infant insert for the ergo until the babies did not need neck support (4-6 weeks old). We were also gift the travel ergo. Its great because it folds into a tiny pocket and is lightweight for easy storage/packing. There is less support and padding on the travel ergo compared to regular ergo, so we couldn't use it with henry because he was such a BIG baby. It's perfect with Emila because she is NOT THAT big.
Ergo just came out with a NEW line called Adapt baby carrier, which has an adjustable backseat for the baby, so no infant insert needed!
Before ergo came out with the 360, only baby bjorn had the forward facing option, but also had a lot of mixed reviews about no lower back support in mom and hip dysfunction in babies. The ergo 360 has a bucket seat, which is supposed to be better for the baby hip sockets.
IMO, the traditional ergo is more comfortably for baby and mom's lower back!!  But we have both, and Emilia loves the forward facing option.
